There is a high demand for a spanish interpreter in new york currently.  So many jobs that deal with the general public now require you to be a translator for the spanish language.  If not a spanish language translator you will need to be a spanish interpreter.  Most jobs posted in the new york paper even state this directly.  I really have a hard time with this as we are in American and this is English.  But I do not think I have a choice at this time.  I am going to go to school and learn how to be a spanish language translator so I can get a job here in new york.
